ESG and the supply chain connection

Supply chains offer great opportunity and potentially great liability. We know from a multitude of studies that almost 90% of bribery and corruption cases prosecuted in the US involve third parties.[1] Supply chain partners have also been involved in significant data breaches and privacy impacts, with the Ponemon Institute reporting in 2021 that more than 51% of institutions suffered a breach caused by a third party.[2]
