Najib Razak, former prime minister of Malaysia, sentenced to 12 years in prison

The Kuala Lumpur High Court found former Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak guilty[1] on seven counts of money laundering, criminal breach of trust and abuse of power. Razak was sentenced to 12 years in prison and was ordered to pay nearly USD 50 million in fines.
