The recently published report from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)—titled Moving Forward on Data Free Flow With Trust (DFFT)—provides new evidence and analysis of business experiences.[1] The report is based on a series of structured discussions with a sample of businesses and legal practitioners that raised challenges and opportunities on DFFT. DFFT is a policy priority, and the report highlights that the protection of privacy and data protection across borders is a critical aspect of the DFFT agenda.
