Have you ever completed a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle with more than 300 mini-Lego faces on it? I am proud to say I have, but I didn’t do it alone. It was a Christmas gift from one of my best friends to my then-12-year-old son. If you think the puzzle was a piece of cake, think again. The seemingly easy task of putting together all the pieces with extremely similar traits turned out to be a huge production and represented a prime example of successful teamwork where everyone in the family jumped in and helped achieve the common goal. As a person who thinks all things compliance, this two-week-long project prompted me to ponder: On the long journey to achieving compliance, what is required to reach the ideal end result?
