I was recently involved in a conversation during which mangers within my organization were surprised at how much the compliance group actually knew about their programs and their staff. Although the discussion was eye opening for those managers, it also struck a chord with me. As a compliance leader, I assume that program leadership can connect the dots and see what the compliance group sees. After this conversation, I realized that they don’t and that I need to make a conscious effort to connect those dots for people.
