Compliance and ethics liaisons are people with full-time responsibilities outside of compliance but spend some time helping with its initiatives. They act as an extension of the department, influencing their peers to follow the company code of conduct. During the current economic headwinds, many compliance departments have stagnant budgets and find it difficult to grow their function. So, tapping into this extended network of liaisons is particularly important.
