Patient Privacy Court Case: November 2021

On Sept. 15, 2021, the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska granted final approval of Nebraska Medicine’s data breach class action settlement that included cash reimbursements and credit monitoring.[1] Nebraska Medicine is a comprehensive health network with two major hospitals, more than 1,000 doctors and 40 clinics in the Omaha area.
