Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in California has agreed to pay almost $2.1 million to settle false claims allegations in connection with Medicaid (Medi-Cal) billing for prescription drugs purchased under the 340B drug-discount program, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California said Feb. 2.[1] The settlement stems from Pomona Valley’s self-disclosures in 2021 and 2023.
