DEA suit against Colorado's Pharmacy Board: A case to watch

Perhaps akin to watching parents argue at a dinner table, a recent privacy lawsuit has unfolded in Colorado between two government agencies, which will be interesting to watch. On November 5, 2019, the federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) filed suit against the Colorado Board of Pharmacy (CBOP). The DEA is demanding the CBOP share certain patient information from its Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) database.
