Canada to impose tariffs on US goods this week

Following the United States’ decision to impose tariffs on Canadian aluminum, Canada has vowed to retaliate with tariffs of its own. The Canadian ambassador to the U.S., Kirsten Hillman, told Canadian media Sept. 11 that Canada would impose tariffs shortly[1] and that “‘they will remain in effect until the U.S. eliminates its tariffs against Canada.’”
