Here is one of a handful of storyboards developed by the compliance team at Luminis Health in Annapolis, Maryland. Storyboards are placed in employee settings, including lunchrooms, break rooms and departments with patient flows, to “continuously reach out to stakeholders in our organization or anyone who works with us,” said Chief Compliance Officer Shirley Knelly. The storyboard on the code of conduct obviously doesn’t contain the entire document, “but it highlights key information.” Other storyboards address HIPAA privacy, how to report a compliance issue and the nonretaliation policy.
