◆ The HHS Office of Research Integrity is accepting applications from those who wish to study research integrity or sponsor a conference, according to a recent funding announcement by ORI. The purpose of the research integrity award is “to foster innovative approaches for research on research integrity and preventing misconduct. Integrity is defined as the use of honest and verifiable methods in proposing, performing, and evaluating research and reporting research results with particular attention to adherence to rules, regulations, guidelines, and commonly accepted professional codes or norms,” the agency announced Jan. 10.
