Election day in the US is occurring right around the time you’re reading this. And throughout the world, we’ve witnessed the continuation of a troubling trend that’s been growing for several years: the misuse of the word “ethics” when discussing political issues. People have called out politicians for unethical behavior for years, but we all bring over our biases when we do so.
