Minnesota bans toxic chemical TCE

The state of Minnesota passed a bill banning the chemical Trichloroethylene[1] (TCE) following an investigation into a wastewater management company, Water Gremlin, that polluted the environment with lead, TCE and poorly filtered used oil.[2] The pollutants caused locals to experience increased cancer rates, which led to the township raising awareness about TCE contamination in their community.[3]
