A look back and a look ahead

As we come to the end of 2021, I’ve been thinking about what we’ve been through and where we are heading. When I wrote this column a year ago, there was a lot of uncertainty resulting from the pandemic. But, nobody fully anticipated the rollercoaster ride we were in for in 2021. The spring brought so much optimism as vaccination rates rose, only to see things get worse once again in the summer. Now, perhaps things are beginning to turn for the better.
