Businesses within the healthcare industry should note that federal law requires business entities to disclose personal information and photographs of persons with ownership or control over their business. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and other federal and state agencies with oversight responsibilities for healthcare providers will soon have access to this information, allowing these agencies to verify enrollment and licensing records already submitted by healthcare providers.
