Facebook and Google in the crosshairs

Two of the world’s largest tech giants are facing increased scrutiny and ire following multiple reports and indictments ranging from violating data privacy laws to anti-trust violations and more. Under the new Designing Accounting Safeguards to Help Broaden Oversight and Regulations on Data Act, the companies may also be forced to inform users of how much money they actually make off of data siphoned from devices and online activities.
