Competing priorities

The definition of priority in Merriam-Webster is “superiority in rank, position, or privilege.”[1] With certain patient visit numbers to reach, research oversight may not be the highest priority. Providing principal investigators (PIs) with the knowledge, time, and proper staff is a fundamental element to doing good research. During drug trials regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), how do you ensure they have the knowledge and the tools to be successful?
